the burgers and fries are great, but their chocolate milkshake is phenomenal. i don't think it's just ice cream and syrup, i think there's something else, something special. absolutely delightful.

Great little hotdog stand near Logan Square. Walk up service only with a couple of tables outside in the parking lot if you want to eat there. Most folks take their food to go. Hotdogs are amazing and their chicken fingers are quite tasty as well. Hotdogs do not have a think skin so if you're looking for a dog that "snaps" there's other options near by. Friendly and fast, this is a frequent stop for me when I'm nearby. I'd recommend.
Solid hot dog at a solid price, and even better it comes with solid fries at no additional cost! This hot dog was made simply but effectively. Funny, because it is super similar to Red Hot Ranch, in fact they are practically neighbors. You could see one establishment from the other. This hot dog comes with that little resistance and snap, and all the makings that make Chicago hot dogs special. The heaping serving of fries on top of the hot dog make it more special. Seriously, I considered going back and getting one more, but for $6, this is an amazing deal. Even more? It is right by the El, so you can get your dog and get into the city all in a matter of minutes. I wonder if "El Dog" would work as a thing...
Red hots, get yer red hots! Cute little shack service a wide menu of your fast food favorites. I enjoy a nice hot dog from time to time and Jr's hits the spot. They've got a pretty big menu but run like a well oiled machine in there. During nicer months, they put out a few tables and chairs. Stop here for a heaping plethora of fries served with the food. They serve smoothies as well as canned soda. They also have a decent sized parking lot as well as street parking. Decent prices for the area and the food tasted super fresh...
